Youth Unlocking Potential 2026 is a city-wide talent development festival designed to identify, mentor, develop, and showcase talented young people from newcomer, Black, immigrant, refugee, Indigenous, and underserved communities.
The festival focuses on four artistic categories: Music, Comedy, Theatre, and Arts & Crafts.
Selected participants will complete a four-week talent development program covering leadership, entrepreneurship, public speaking, branding, financial literacy, networking, and career development before showcasing their talents before industry professionals, community leaders, sponsors, educators, and the public.
Participants will compete for talent development awards, mentorship opportunities, studio support, professional branding packages, travel opportunities, and career advancement resources.
